Open Positions:

Northern Kentucky Commercial Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Sales Manager to oversee our Northern Kentucky commercial paving and concrete division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within a sales role and possess the necessary skills to drive sales, build and maintain client relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of all commercial paving and concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold-calling, and other sales techniques.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients in Northern Kentucky, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Understand and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies and proposals.
  • Collaborate with the estimating team to deliver accurate and competitive project bids.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to promote our company and generate leads. We are involved in the Northern Kentucky Chamber of commerce and there are weekly meetings we require our new representative to attend.
  • Oversee the implementation of all commercial paving projects, ensuring timely and successful completion within the budget.
  • Work directly with the inside office to monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes, and provide insight on new market opportunities to the management team.

Qualifications:

  • Residence in Northern Kentucky is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, construction or a related field is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry, specifically in paving and asphalt products
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software

  • Starting salary of $40,000.00- $50,000.00 with commission per Sale.

Asphalt Laborer

Assist in the pouring, smoothing and setting of asphalt on roads, pathways, and parking lots. The main role of the asphalt laborer is to look after the mat. This includes raking, sweeping, and lining out the driveway or parking lot, as well as working alongside the tractor, mill, paver, and the screed.

Laborer Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout day
  • Listening and verbal communication skills
  • Dependability and punctuality
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Education, Experience, and Age Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CDL – Class A or Class B or Class C
  • Certificate from an accredited CDL school

 

Truck Driver 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and operate trucks. Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
  • Pre-inspect truck.
  • Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
  • Load and unload cargo.
  • Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
  • Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy

Truck Driver Skills and Qualifications:

  • Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge
  • Pallet jack experience required; forklift experience preferred
  • Clean driving record
  • No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years
  • Listening and verbal communication skills
  • Dependability
